Planning a wedding is already a stressful task on any normal day. Here are my full-proof tips on how to make the most out of your quarantine to secure your wedding dream team.

1. Reach Out to Your Top Vendors

Is there a vendor who’s work you love or you know is perfect for your wedding? Reach out to them sooner than later. As a vendor, we are working with all of our 2020 couples affected by COVID-19 to reschedule their dates. As a result, our calendars are starting to fill up if they aren’t already full for both 2020 and 2021.

2. Finalize Smaller Vendors

Believe it or not, there are so many vendors you can finalize from the comfort of your own home. Thanks to FaceTime and Zoom you can reach out to any of your vendors to set up a virtual meeting. While certain things like your venue walkthrough or the taste testing with the caterer will need to be done in person, you can create your invitation suite with your stationer, schedule a consult with your desired photographer or videographer, work with a stylist to find the perfect heels to go with your wedding dress, pick out your officiant. The list can go on and on!

3. Don’t Forget the Little Things

During a busier time, it can be easy to forget the smaller details. Now is a great time to figure out all of the smaller details of your wedding such as little items for your flat lay or things you might wear throughout the day. Do you have a special ring box you would like your rings photographed in, a signature perfume you always wear, a special hairpin or pair of earrings you’ll want to wear on your wedding day?

4. Find the Perfect Outfit For Your Engagement Session

Still deciding on what to wear for your engagement session? Many retailers are having spring sales! This is the perfect time to snatch up that perfect outfit for a spring or summer engagement session. I love to find inspiration from Pinterest & Instagram. Some of my favorites to shop at are Revolve, H&M, Aritzia, and Lulus. I’ll have some inspo below if you’re currently shopping for your engagement session outfit.

5. Relax & Focus on Yourself

Lastly, A healthy and happy bride is the perfect bride!  With the increased downtime, you can accomplish some things you may not have time to do on a daily basis. Having you been looking forward to enjoying a good book, learn a new recipe, or to pick up a new hobby? During these past few weeks, I’ve taken the time to regroup and relax. My family and I go on daily walks and I’ve finished several books! If you’re looking for a recommendation some of my favorites are Little Fires Everywhere, The Couple Next Door, and Big Little Lies.
